Mass Timber Manufacturing Facility

Independence Hall | Millersburg, OR

Overview

Timberlab's Independence Hall project is a significant advancement in mass timber manufacturing, reflecting our company's dedication to innovative and eco-friendly building practices nationally. Situated on a 37-acre site in Millersburg, Oregon, the development includes a 190,000-square-foot facility designed for manufacturing operations and administrative office spaces. The industrial structure will prominently feature locally milled and manufactured GLT panels, beams, and columns. Timberlab's vertically integrated approach utilizes readily available materials and reduces the structure's carbon footprint by bringing the manufacturing in-house.

Equipped with an advanced radio frequency press and CNC machinery by Kallesoe, the facility is poised to enhance precision and efficiency in CLT manufacturing by automating much of the process. The plant is designed to produce some of the highest quality cross-laminated timber panels, catering to the market's increasing demand for engineered wood products. Slated for completion in late 2026, the facility will help advance the mainstream adoption of mass timber in the United States.
