AcousDeck CLT™ (Patent Pending) maintains the two-way spanning capability, diaphragm capacity, and standardized detailing that make CLT the industry's preferred mass timber system. No platform switch, no new framing logic. Acoustic and standard CLT panels ship in a single supply package on one erection sequence.
A non-structural acoustic layer provides sound absorption to the structural panel itself (up to 0.65 NRC, laboratory testing per ASTM C423 pending), eliminating the applied ceiling and its additional trade and schedule demands.
