Overview
The Beaverton Public Safety Center was designed to be a catalyst for the surrounding neighborhood. At 72,000 square feet and three-stories tall, the facility houses the Beaverton Police Department and the Office of Emergency Management. A Type V-B structure with 20'x27' column grid, the building was designed to be earthquake-resistant utilizing a structural steel frame with CLT floors and roof diaphragm.
