Overcoming Barriers to Mass Timber Adoption

Although mass timber construction is gaining in popularity nationally and globally, there are still many barriers to the full adoption of the system. This presentation will identify the most common challenges encountered during the design and construction of mass timber systems, and will discuss how those challenges can be avoided and overcome. Our panelists have backgrounds in design, fabrication, and construction of mass timber systems and will provide viewpoints from their respective fields.
